Chimney service built around Santa Monica homes
Santa Monica combines aggressive salt-air corrosion with some of the strictest air-quality expectations in the region, which is why most of our coastal work here ends in a clean-burning gas or electric conversion.
North of Montana homes have substantial masonry chimneys, often with multiple flues. Ocean Park bungalows are compact and close together, so scaffolding and access planning matter. Beach-adjacent condos have metal chases that corrode within a decade if they are not stainless.
Salt spray attacks galvanized components, dampers and rebar inside masonry. Rust jacking — where corroding steel expands and cracks brick from the inside — is a genuine problem within a mile of the beach. Stainless and marine-grade fasteners are standard on all of our coastal installs.
