Chimney service built around Long Beach homes
Long Beach has more designated historic districts than almost any city in Southern California, and its 1920s Spanish and California bungalow chimneys are both charming and, frequently, entirely unlined.
Belmont Shore and Naples homes sit right on the water with heavy salt exposure. Bixby Knolls and California Heights have well-preserved 1920s to 1940s masonry, often with original clay flues. Lakewood-adjacent postwar tracts have simple, low-maintenance chimneys that just need routine service.
Harbor air carries both salt and industrial particulates. Combined with the 1933 Long Beach earthquake legacy, we find a lot of chimneys that were rebuilt or shortened decades ago with details that would not pass today.
