Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026. These terms apply to all services provided by Chimney Safety Experts.

1. Services

Chimney Safety Experts provides chimney sweeping, inspection, repair, relining and masonry rebuild services. Scope of work is defined in the written estimate provided before work begins.

2. Estimates & pricing

Estimates are flat-priced based on the conditions observed at the time of inspection. If hidden conditions require additional work, we will stop and provide a revised estimate for your approval before continuing.

3. Scheduling & cancellations

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled window. Missed appointments may be subject to a trip fee.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, ACH and check. Larger rebuild projects may require a deposit.

5. Workmanship warranty

Repair and rebuild work carries a written workmanship guarantee for the period stated on your invoice. The warranty does not cover damage from storms, misuse, structural settlement or work performed by others.

6. Access & safety

You agree to provide safe access to the chimney, fireplace and roof. We may decline or postpone rooftop work in unsafe weather or where structural conditions present a hazard.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, incidental damages or losses arising from conditions outside the scope of the work performed.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your service applies to that service.
